Waterdance
Wassertanzen

This form of aquatic bodywork is similar to Watsu, adding the element of going underwater. Establishing a connection through focused presence with the breath helps to create a powerful synchronicity of movement therapy resembling a dance. Using noseplugs to access below the water helps to gain three dimensional freedom that expand the possibilities of therapeutic benefit.

Being completely relaxed this feels different than swimming, the motion comes from the therapist, which is felt as a sensation of being guided through the water, that some describe as very dolphinlike or womblike. Underwater, the weightless suspension and warm water relaxation helps to achieve full range of motion that is not capable in gravity. The heartbeat and breath are slowed as the session progresses, increasing the length of time underwater, thus creating a relaxed, blissful state. Connecting with a persons breath and finding freedom in movement with them is a very rejuvenating experience for me, I wish to share this feeling with others.
